European Union National Institutes of Culture (EUNIC) in Hungary organizes the European Languages Cocktail Bar in Budapest to celebrate linguistic and cultural diversity in Europe. This event will be a joint celebration of the European Day of Languages, an initiative of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.

Visitors will be invited to take part in fun language activities and games and they will have the opportunity to learn some words in many European languages from native speakers and get a European Languages Passport in return. Guests will have the chance to win different presents and services offered by the cultural institutes.

Activities by the bar tables will be supplemented by various stage activities: a discussion on lenaguage learning moderated by Kriszta D.Tóth, TÁP Színház performance and a concert by Vodku.

Organizers and participants will also create the Wall of European Languages as a great visual representation of linguistic diversity in Europe.
