Hungarian State President Loses Lawsuit From Website Seeking Data On Criminal Pardons
"President Pál Schmitt’s office may not make a secret of how many criminals he has pardoned, the Budapest Court ruled on Monday. The decision came in a lawsuit launched by news website Origo after the president’s office twice refused to release data.

The Court obliged the President’s Office to make the rulings on amnesty available to Origo within 15 days.

The Office did not say whether it will accept the ruling or lodge an appeal.

Five out of 377 applicants were granted amnesty by the Office in the first half of 2011."
