The Fashion fair will be centred around the theme of wedding this time, but the organisers have prepared for us a wedding fair out of the ordinary: featuring the latest trends, ranging from invitations through wedding and evening gowns to table decorations, with special attention not just to the bride and groom, but also their guests.

More than Wedding

Imola Mata, Meruhsa, Ágora Nagy and Ravia Couture will be showcasing fresh and young wedding dresses, while Annchi and Tamara Barnoff will present their latest 2013 summer collection at WAMP. In addition to the fashion labels, hand-made jewellery and hair decorations by Mimóza Design, and the artistic Richelieu design made from Hungarian ‘matyó’ embroidery by Lokalwear will also be available. Graphic artists and designers offering special gifts will also be joining the exhibitors. WAMP’s vintage wedding expert, MIMI / EVENTS WITH LOVE has lots of ideas for couples whose motto is ’something old, something new’ and who would like to celebrate their wedding in style.

WAMP+ Once Again

The WAMP+ section will be back, offering the chance for designers to participate as VIP exhibitors. The Aquanauta, Ille-Olla, Otto Verstein, Urban Legend and Zagabo fashion labels will be featured this time, as well as the MIMM jewellery brand well-known for its bird motifs and Vanda Ferencz, a creator of cool earrings and necklaces. Zsuzsi Lengyel’s and Judit Ducsai’s bags are already popular, and WAMP visitors are perhaps familiar by now with Anikó Róth’ girly artwork and also with Tibor Tatai’s atmospheric graphic designs.

This Sunday, nearly one hundred Hungarian designers will be showcasing their work at WAMP and there will be lots of new additions to the indispensable gastro section, too.
