Fashion Of Cost Effective ’Home Boutiques’ Spreading In Hungary
Second-hand clothes retailers who cannot pay the costs of running a shop are increasingly opting to sell their wares from their homes, setting up “home boutiques”, daily Magyar Nemzet said. The new form of costeffective marketing has become popular all over Hungary, triggered by the need for belt-tightening, and such sales are widely advertised on the internet, the paper said.

György Vámos, head of the National Retailers’ Association said with the exception of food it is legal to sell used items at home as long as the seller has a tax number registered with the authorities.
