Dialogue For Hungary Starts Soup Kitchen
Opposition Dialogue for Hungary (PM) is launching a hot meal food kitchen programme for the poor at the weekends in the winter, the party’s co-leader said. Tímea Szabó said that big families, children, and the homeless had become poorer during the Fidesz government.

Now as many as 4 million live under the subsistence level, five thousand lose their homes every year and 1.5 million live in underprivileged circumstances, she added.

She noted that the ruling parties had turned down PM’s proposals to increase social spending and to launch a social housing programme.
