There are hundreds of volunteers nationwide in Hungary dedicating their free time to help sick children. These volunteers design activities for the children according to their age and needs, playing with the little ones to distract them from their illness and doing handcrafts with older children while also providing emotional support by having conversations with them and their parents.



Smiling Hospital Foundation is the organization behind the highly motivated, carefullly selected and well-trained volunteers. Besides Budapest, Smiling Hospital Foundation is present in 5 cities, right now Vác is one of the new locations where these initiatives are being implemented.



Thanks to the partnership with Vác FC in the Community, the Smiling Hospital Foundation have received over 20 new applicants in the last few days and their selection is currently ongoing. Once these volunteers are properly trained, they will start visiting the children’s ward in Jávorszky Ödön Hospital in Vác.
