There are buildings that open up for the very first time, some of these are legendary.

And again, some houses that are joining us for the first time have just been too \'shy\' to participate until now: this year our volunteers have managed to persuade the tenants and even involve them in doing the research of their buildings\' history together.

This programme is just as much about Budapest then and Budapest today, about the houses themselves, and about the people who live and work in them. 

Participation in Budapest100 events is free of charge during opening hours.

A photo exhibition on the 5 years of the Budapest100 programme is on display in the Budapest Szabó Ervin Library between 9th April - 9th May 2015.
