Hungarian State Employees Fired, Rehired As Public Workers
It is a widespread practice in several institutions of the Human Resources Ministry to dismiss employees and then rehire them as public workers, Világgazdaság reports. The problem is most prevalent at the Klebelsberg Centre, which, as the overseer of Hungary’s schools, is Hungary’s second largest public service employer.

The number employed there on public works projects grew from 2,378 in December to 4,421 in April. Minister Zoltán Balogh promised an inquiry.
