Hungarian Govt Ads Warn Off Refugees In Lebanese & Jordanian Papers
The Hungarian government on Monday warned migrants in a full-page advertisement published in leading Lebanese and Jordanian newspapers that prison awaits them if they enter Hungary illegally. The advertisement, printed in Arabic and English, reads "Hungarians are hospitable, but the strongest possible action is taken against those who attempt to enter Hungary illegally. The illegal crossing of the country’s border is a crime punishable by imprisonment. Do not listen to the people smugglers. Hungary will not allow illegal immigrants to cross its territory."

The Hungarian government has paid for similar advertisements in Serbia, Macedonia and Greece.
