Justice Minister: Hungary Govt Has Zero Tolerance Policy On Hate Speech

The Hungarian government will not tolerate hate speech, the justice minister said. People’s freedom and dignity require that their faith, religion and identity are respected, László Trócsányi said. However, in the age of globalisation, the internet and social media there are obviously limitations in the legal regulation of this area.
Countries must cooperate so that a global, or at least a European framework for legal harmonisation is created, he said.
