With Euronet’s new service there is no need for customers to withdraw Hungarian forints first and then go to another place to exchange the forints to euros. Euro cash withdrawal from Euronet ATMs only requires one step: simply insert your card into the ATM and get your euro cash instantly.
Applied exchange rates are displayed on the screen of the ATM and euro banknotes are available at the speed, convenience and accessibility of a regular cash withdrawal.
Euronet ATMs offer euro cash withdrawal 24 hours a day. This offers additional convenience to people travelling abroad, as they will no longer need to preorder euro notes or rely on normal operating hours of a bank or foreign exchange agent. Euronet’s blue and yellow ATMs are placed in airports, railway stations, pedestrian zones, shopping centers, hotels, and other high traffic locations, both in Budapest and in major cities around Hungary.
„Making currency accessible, is key to delivering a great service to our customers. Euronet’s ATMs can provide real help to everyone who likes to get euros before departure, at favorable exchange rates, accesible 24 hours a day, at a place of our customers convenience,” ─ said Egor Musatov, Euronet’s Regional Managing Director.
In addition to the new euro banknote dispensing service, Euronet’s ATMs will continue to offer services such as cash withdrawals, balance inquiry, mobile phone top-up, and more.
Euronet continues to expand its network by adding more ATMs across the country, as well as enhancing the services offered to better benefit consumers. Euronet currently has 200 multifunctional ATMs able to dispense both EUR and HUF in Hungary, and this number is expected to further increase convenience for Hungarian customers.
