MOL Plans Charging Stations Network
MOL, German energy company E.ON and Japanese automaker Nissan have requested Ft 1.4 billion in EU funding for a Ft 1.7 billion project to install charging stations for electric cars at MOL petrol stations.

Project costs total Ft 1.675 billion, of which own financing is Ft 251 million and the requested EU subsidy is Ft 1.424 billion.

Under the proposed network, there would be no more than 150km between charging stations across Hungary.

MOL last year announced plans to enter new markets as part of its diversification strategy.
