Jobbik Opposes Allowing Migrant 14-18 Year-Olds Into Hungary
The leader of Jobbik said on Wednesday that allowing migrants aged between 14-18 into Hungary would be a “huge mistake” and the party opposes any associated changes to the law on child protection.

Vona noted at a news conference that Jobbik had supported March 7 legislation tightening asylum regulations which exclude migrant 14-18 year-olds from the child protection act while obliging them to stay in transit zones until their asylum applications are ruled on.

Vona dismissed a recent government statement on relaxing the rules, insisting that doing so would open up legal abuses and increase security risks.
