'Mandoki Soulmates', Budapest Park, 8 August

The super group of the legendary Leslie Mandoki, Mandoki Soulmates returns to Budapest the night before the 25th Sziget Festival starts. The icons of the jazzrock world gave their first concert in 1994, at the first Sziget Festival that presented not only Hungarian but international artists as well.
At concert in August among the founding members – Chris Thompson (Manfred Mann Earth Band), Bobby Kimball (Toto), Nick van Eede (Cutting Crew), Randy Brecker, Bill Evans (Miles Davis Band), John Helliwell (Supertramp) – the later joined members - Mark Hart (Supertramp), Mike Stern (Blood, Sweat & Tears), Till Brönner, Klaus Doldinger and the youngest "Soulmate" members: Melanie C (Spice Girls) and Cory Henry (Snarky Puppy) – will make an appearance as well.
Thanks to the anniversary of the Island of Freedom, those with a valid 7-day Sziget wristband or voucher may enter the event for free.
