Hungary’s State-Owned Lottery Company To Issue ID Cards
- 19 Sep 2017 8:46 AM
State-owned lottery company Szerencsejáték will introduce voluntary identification cards for Hungarians who try their luck with its games from the fourth quarter. Szerencsejáték said the cards, which it will issue free of charge, will result in increased security for gamers.
They can make note of their lucky lottery numbers, be informed if they win and have their winnings transferred to their bank account.
The cards also prevent third parties from collecting the winnings of lost lottery tickets, the company said. The card has a “self-restriction” function, which supports Szerencsejáték’s activities as a responsible lottery company.
