“Whiskey Robber” Movie Trailer Out
American-Hungarian filmmaker Antal Nimród’s new and much-awaited movie about legendary bank robber Attila Ambrus will be presented in cinemas next month. However, a new movie trailer is out now and it promises an action-packed entertainment for the fans of the Hungarian films.

The film tell the story of Attila Ambrus, a Transylvanian-born former thief and professional ice hockey player, who became known as the “Whiskey Robber” because he was often seen drinking whiskey at a nearby pub prior to the robbery.

He became notorious during the 1990s for committing a string of undercover “gentleman robberies” in and around Budapest, Hungary while working a day job as a professional ice hockey player.

Between 1993 and 1999 he robbed almost 30 banks and post offices but he was caught and imprisoned for about 12 years, released in 2012.
