Heat Record Broken In Budapest
A 142-year record was broken in Budapest on Monday as temperatures reached a new peak for that date, near 30C.

The National Weather Service reported that a record 29.3C was gauged in Újpest, Budapest’s Fourth District.

That supersedes the previous April 23 record of 29C, measured in Buda in 1876.
