Ara Malikian Open-Air Violin Concert In Budapest, 29 June
'Incredible World Tour Of Violin’ - the first performance in Hungary by the most versatile violin virtuoso.

Following sold-out performances in London, Paris, Rome, Moscow, Buenos Aires, Lima, Beijing, Hong Kong, Istanbul, Prague, Dubai and the most popular concert venues of over 40 cities, the second wave of the tour by Beirut-born Spanish violinist Ara Malikian brings him to the Margaret Island where he is sure to captivate the audience.

At first sight, Malikian doesn’t look like a typical violinist, as his performances also stand out from his contemporaries due to the fact that he plays like an unstoppable rock musician on the stage.

His incomparable dynamics, energetic choreography and immersive stage presence hypnotize the audience as he reinterprets the classics of the violin repertoire with unique inclusions of selections and inspirations from the worlds of gypsy, klezmer, tango and Spanish flamenco music.

The exciting performer will perform with his seven-member band in the Margaret Island Open-Air Theatre, where they combine classical and contemporary music in the incredibly colourful repertoire which includes such legendary composers and artists as Johann Sebastian Bach, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin or Paganini.

Date and time:
Friday, 29 June, 8 pm
