Diosgyőr completed a thrilling escape from OTP Bank Liga relegation trouble by defeating new champions Videoton 2-1 at home, but Balmazújváros and former Budapest giants Vasas will drop out of Hungary's top tier after the league's 33rd and final round of fixtures. Elsewhere, Újpest secured third spot and Budapest Honvéd qualified for the Europa Liga by finishing fourth.
