Randstad: 30% Of Hungarians Work Flexitime

Fully 30% of employees in Hungary have flexible working hours as against 40% in international comparison, according to a survey.
Worldwide, 68% of employees work in traditional settings, but 44% said that flexible work conditions are on the rise.
In Hungary, 74% still work in traditional settings and merely 30% have experienced a shift towards flexible work.
Less than half of Hungarian employees said that their companies provided the means necessary for working at home, data published by Randstad Workmonitor show.
India and China are world leaders in introducing flexible working hours and remote work. In central Europe, Austria leads with 50% of respondents working remotely or in flexible hours, the survey said.
Flexible hours and remote work are seen as factors reducing fluctuations in manpower and raising efficiency, creativity and employee satisfaction, said Randstad, the global HR services that conducts surveys of employees in 33 countries four times a year.
In Hungary, it canvassed the opinions of over 400 employees aged between 18 and 65.
