Locals Hopeful Of Buying Car, Says New Survey
9% of households in Hungary are planning to purchase cars in the coming three years, economic research company GKI reports.

In practical terms, this means 373,000 households buying 125,000 cars annually, of which 23% will be new cars.

Among car purchases, 71% will be fuelled by petrol, 24% by diesel and 5% will be hybrid and electric cars.

The inclination to buy a vehicle is strongest among people living in rural towns and persons in their 30s.
