Magyar Posta Now Selling Train Tickets
Magyar Posta has signed an agreement with state passenger railway company MÁV-Start on selling train tickets in 17 post offices from April, the companies announced on Friday.

Four post offices will sell train tickets in Budapest, two in Győr and one in each of Debrecen, Hajmáskér, Jászapáti, Martfű, Miskolc, Nyíregyháza, Szeged, Szeghalom, Szendrő, Tab and Veszprém.

The agreement is based on a pilot project launched at the Malompark post office in Debrecen in January.

If the experience with the 17 post offices is positive, then other post offices will also sell train tickets.
