Coronavirus: Budapest Airport Is Not Closing
Though Hungary’s government has decided to close the country’s borders in an effort to contain the spread of the new coronavirus, Budapest’s Liszt Ferenc International Airport will not be closed, a government official said.

This means that only Hungarian citizens will be allowed to enter the country, Zoltán Kovács, the state secretary for international communications and relations, told MTI.

Transit and freight traffic will continue as is, Kovács said, underlining that passengers would be able to board connecting flights at the airport.
