Coronavirus: Number Of Cases Rises To 300 In Hungary
The number of people infected with the coronavirus now stands at 300. In quarantine: 100. Recovered: 34 Deceased: 10.

“There are no new deaths in Hungary, and people who feel sick must stay at home,” said Cecília Müller at today’s Operational Group press conference. She added that more and more people are appearing at hospitals believing they are sick, but stressed that they must stay at home. “These people should stay at home and call their GP on phone,” she said.

Hungary is now in the stage of group illnesses when the infection spreads through the community via personal contact. The virus can now be present anywhere in Hungary.

In view of the current epidemiological situation, MÁV-Start is extending its deadline for refunding international rail tickets from April 11 until April 30, irrespective of the country of destination.

In order to slow down mass infection, it is very important that the elderly, students, those returning from abroad, and those who can do so, stay at home and that everyone abides by the rules and recommendations put in place by the government.

The number of coronavirus cases in Hungary stands at 300, including 10 Iranian, 2 British, 1 Kazakh, 1 Vietnamese and 286 Hungarian.
