Lime & Breezy E-Scooters Withdrawn From Budapest
US-owned Lime has withdrawn its electric scooters from the streets of Budapest, news website G7 observes.

Lime did not notify its users and it has not issued an announcement in Hungarian.

Its website states that the company withdrew its green rollers in all countries of its operations except South Korea on March 19.

Some users who bought passes in order to travel with the scooters during the partial curfew are rather disappointed.

It is inconvenient for them to enter into a legal dispute with a company that has no official presence in Hungary and does not follow Hungarian regulations, as the service is provided here by a Dutch company, G7 adds.

Breezy, a competitor to Lime, has also withdrawn its electric scooters from Budapest streets.

The scooters were mostly used by tourists in Budapest, indicating that these devices are sightseeing vehicles rather than an everyday mode of local transport.
