Such applications will be approved only in justified cases, such as when someone is applying for work, medical tests, or to attend a funeral.

The number of daily fatalities from Covid-19 fell to four on Monday, from eight-to-ten over the past week, raising the number of deaths to date to 425.

Another 29 were diagnosed with the coronavirus infection, raising the number of known infections to 3,313.

National chief medical officer Cecília Müller said 12 patients had been taken off ventilators at St. László hospital.

The National Health Centre took part in an international test in which it had to detect the coronavirus in unidentified samples. The Hungarian laboratory scored 100% on the test.
