CIB Expands Use Of Apple Pay In Hungary
CIB has made Apple Pay service available to all of its cardholders with a wireless payment feature, the bank announced on Monday.

The service was first available for retail customers with CIB Visa Inspire and CIB Mastercard cards, but in the future, it will be expanded for all credit cards that allow contactless transactions.

Customers’ bankcard numbers are not stored on the device nor on Apple servers. Instead, the software assigns a unique account number to each transaction, which will have a unique security code.

Apple Pay was rolled out in Hungary last year by OTP. It allows customers to make payments with an iPhone or other Apple devices.
