Hungarian Film Director's 'Pieces Of A Woman' To Debut At Venice Film Festival
Hungarian director Kornél Mundruczó’s first English-language production, Pieces of a Woman, will have its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival.

The movie has been selected for the festival’s official competition programme.

Mundruczó won the Un Certain Regard prize at the Cannes film festival in 2014 for his movie White God.

Mundruczó’s seventh feature film tells the story of the consequences of an ill-fated home birth in Boston. The main roles are played by Vanessa Kirby and Shia LeBoeuf. Most of the movie was filmed in Montreal.

The festival runs from September 2-12.
