A new daily public transport pass introduced in the Danube Bend allows holders to use the services of MÁV, Volánbusz, HÉV and state river fleet Mahart, government spokeswoman Alexandra Szentkirályi announced recently.
The 24-hour pass, available since this Wednesday, may be used to visit popular excursion spots around the Pilis hills, the Danube and the Börzsöny hills.
The daily pass costs Ft 1,999, or Ft 1,499 for those under 26 years of age. Tickets can be redeemed at the station and partner cash desks of Hungarian rail company MÁV-START.
It is expected that from 15 August tickets will be available via MÁV’s mobile phone app.
