Local art cinemas, such as Művész, Puskin, Tabán, Toldi, Kino, are still screening movies on a daily basis during lockdown, just now online via film.artmozi.hu.

    Three years ago, SopronFest was launched with the goal of bringing something fresh and vibrant to the Hungarian festival scene — in both content and format. Set in Hungary’s westernmost city, the festival returns this year during the Pentecost weekend, from June 6–8, with headliners like Timmy Trumpet, Parov Stelar, Worakls, Dub FX, and top Hungarian acts including Halott Pénz, Majka, Ákos, and Desh performing at the picturesque Lővérek Hills.
