Refurbished SkyCourt Lounge Opens at Budapest Airport
Airport Service Budapest Zrt. opened the refurbished SkyCourt Lounge in Budapest's Ferenc Liszt International Airport this month.

At the ceremonial opening event, Lajos Móró, CEO of Airport Service Budapest Zrt. emphasized that the basic concept of the new lounge puts passengers into the focus. The primary aim is to make them feel good while waiting. As he put it, the refurbishment work started in August, which means that the renewal of this facility was completed at a record speed.

The more than 270 sqm business lounge located on the mezzanine level of the SkyCourt at Terminal 2A of the airport is a modern space with a clean design, looking to fully meet the needs of sophisticated travelers. Besides working and dining tables, comfortable sofas and armchairs await airline customers in the three rooms.

The built-in buffet area offers a wide range of food to guests.

SkyCourt Lounge is open to passengers between 4:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. every day.

The lounge is available free of charge to the customers of airlines which have a ground services handling contract with Airport Service Budapest Zrt., such as the business class passengers of AirChina, Air France, KLM, Finnair, China Eastern Airlines, Egyptair, Emirates, Ural Airlines and Tarom as well as to flyers with a Priority Pass membership or certain OTP Private Banking cards.

Other travelers may also use the lounge and its services for a fee.

During breakfast time, sweet and savory cookies and pastries, paninis freshly baked on the spot, cold dishes, cereals, yogurts, salads, snacks, and desserts are available to guests, who will also find Hungarian and foreign newspapers and magazines here.

Wi-Fi services and mobile phone chargers can also be found in the facility, while business travelers may also enjoy a business corner. A separate area is available to wheelchair users.
