IHG to Open Kimpton Hotel on Bem Tér in Budapest
IHG Hotels & Resorts will open its first Kimpton hotel in Hungary on the site of the former Radeczky garrison on Bem tér in Buda, the chain announced yesterday after signing a contract with hotel developer Market Asset Management, a subsidiary of construction company Market Építő.

The 127-room hotel with a rooftop bar is expected to open in 2024.

IHG operates seven Kimpton hotels in Europe and four more are in the pipeline. The company has a total of 75 hotels worldwide and plans to open 32 in the near future.

IHG has three hotels in Hungary: the InterContinental, the Crowne Plaza and the Holiday Inn, with a further two under construction.
