From the organisers: It caught the attention of many people when the news arrived that the last Etyeki Piknik was coming in early January. At the same time, the organizers reassured everyone that it is not a closure, but, as they saya “refill”, and it means something fresh and new, but they did not reveal anything else at the time.

Now here are the details: Etyeki Piknik 12 is coming! But what does that really mean?

Something has always happened in Etyek in the last 20 years. The story began in 2003, with the start of the legendary big events, the Cellar Festival and the Kezes-Lábos.

For ten years, twenty huge festivals covering the whole settlement were organized by the locals, and we can easily say that half of the country visited one or at least wanted to come here because they heard such good things about it.

That’s why the news exploded like a bomb when, in the middle of the biggest successes, the organizers announced that it was over.

Fortunately, it wasn't really over, only a new event format was released and the seasonal Etyeki Piknik was born, which was also a huge success. Another ten years passed and the news came again that the Piknik is over.

Fortunately, it won't really end now either, it's just that the people of Etyek have dreamed of another format for us again, the ETYEKI PIKNIK 12 is coming!

But what does that really mean? Well, that's exactly what its name suggests: we are now delighted with better-than-better programs twelve times a year. Each month will have its own exciting theme and the programs will be organized around it.

Depend on the period and / or the imagination and traditions of the locals, there will be an event that will focus on fiery meals and programs or carnival fun and the best donuts, also will have where the sport tis in the middle or outdoor acoustic music, but to delight of many, we will continue the Goose Fest too!

Another good news is that according to the organizers hopes, in addition to Újhegy, the cellar doors will open in Etyek's other iconic venues within the framework of the Etyeki Piknik 12, so the offer will expand not only at times, but also in the number of venues.

The Etyeki Piknik 12 starts with the April ALSO SYROUPS, and new and new events await everyone every month since then.
