New Historic Low: Forint Just Dropped Past 399 to Euro
HUF dropped as low as 399.56 to the euro around 10 am CET today, yet another historical low recorded after it fell heavily last week.

The Hungarian National bank (MNB) announced that it was ready to intervene at any time to keep the currency stable.

The forint’s plunging is clearly a consequence of Hungary’s exposure to the Russian-Ukrainian war, as evidenced by the fall of all regional currencies as well.
