The traditional annual charity gala of The Thomas Mann All Nations Lions Club returns after a twoyear break due to the pandemic and offers an attractive program, which consists moving classical music that is guaranteed to touch even people who are not familiar with classical music, exciting Latin American and Spanish songs, authentically presented by a top-class Mexican singer, as well as spirited Hispanic dance rhythms, performed by the multiple award-winning flamenco dancer Zsófia Pirók.

And, as always, it shows a lot of heart: because without exception, all proceeds from this event are used to support socially disadvantaged children - for example, to provide sufficient daily food or regular social and educational care for these children.

Every ticket for this gala is therefore an effective contribution to child welfare. Tickets are available for a donation of HUF 6,000 per ticket and entitle the holder to access both a high-quality and entertaining gala program and an elegant, casual get-together with complimentary catering consisting of quality wines, mineral water and delicious finger food.

Under the motto of the evening "Music and Dance throughout the world - from Classic to Latin ", young top artists of classical music will demonstrate their great skills in the first part of the program. These are musicians who have celebrated their first successes and have already won prizes and are now on their way to conquer nationally and internationally important stages.

Harpist Anna Szabó will demonstrate, how convincingly and also astonishingly modern a harp can be presented as a solo instrument, using works by Johann Pachelbel and Bernard Andrés.

The flutist Eszter Király, who also works as a conductor and co-founded the ensemble MilleniArt, will demonstrate the great tonal range of the flute with works by Claude Debussy and Camille Saint Saëns, ranging from gentle, rather meditative tones to a powerful, highly virtuosic sound with fast runs that impress the audience.

She gets accompanied on the piano by Leila Ditta Hargitai. Finally, a brilliant conclusion to the first part will be provided by cellist Ábel Jász and his fellow musicians Ádám Dankó (violin) and Endre Kecskeméti (piano), who will perform together the first movement of the wonderful Piano Trio No. 1 in B major, composed by Johannes Brahms.

The second part of the gala will be dedicated to the temperament and joie de vivre of Latin America and Hispanic culture.

This part will begin with the Mexican bass-baritone and former Plácido Domingo scholarship holder Manuel Betancourt Camino, who, accompanied by the versatile and internationally successful Japanese pianist Narihito Mukeda, will perform a selection of sometimes lively, sometimes very moving songs of Latin American and Spanish origin.

Thereby the soft and nuanced voice as well as the distinctive stage presence of the singer should captivate the audience. This will be followed by a tango dance show by a professional tango dance couple, who will bring the emotional essence of this Latin American dance to dance floor, before Zsófia Pirók, a flamenco artist trained in Spain and winner of several awards, will delight the audience with a spirited performance and make the Hispanic culture tangible.
