Low Grape Harvest Expected in Hungary
The grape harvest will amount so some 370 million kilograms, a low figure, the Agriculture Ministry forecast on Monday.

Realistically, producer prices should increase by 10-20% year-on-year on average, but, naturally, this varies according to the wine regions, grape varieties, and quality of the grapes, the ministry added.

The ministry said the amount of wine in storage is also low.

Since an exceptionally good grape harvest is not expected in Europe this year, the ministry also shares professional opinions that there will be demand for Hungarian grapes and wine from this year’s vintage.
