New Home Prices Edge Up 3% in Hungary
New home prices in Hungary could edge up 3% in the coming year, while resale home prices fall close to 4%, according to a quarterly survey of real estate companies and consumers by building materials maker Masterplast and economic research institute GKI, according to azuzlet.hu.

Around 64% of the respondents to the survey said new home prices would stagnate over the next 12 months, while 32% predicted an increase in prices.

Half of the respondents said resale home prices would fall and 16% said prices would climb. The survey suggests home rents will stagnate.

The survey results were based on responses from 91 real estate companies and a representative sample of 1,000 consumers.
