Yettel Sets Up 5G Network at Óbuda University in Budapest
Mobile telecoms provider Yettel has set up a communication network using 5G technology on the campus of Óbuda University in Budapest’s Third District.

The mobile operator completed the project and provided SIM cards and terminal equipment for testing purposes at the end of 2022.

Yettel equipped IT and cybersecurity labs with the latest technology to enable students to conduct 5G-related research.

In addition, the parties signed a partnership agreement on Friday extending their co-operation to recruitment and an internship programme.

Yettel is currently involved in the development of the curriculum of telecoms-related subjects at the Neumann János Faculty of Informatics.
