New Cyberspace Centre Of Military National Security Service Now Operational in Hungary
The Military National Security Service works for the security of Hungarian people and protects them amidst the challenges of the 21st century, the minister of defence said at the opening of the service’s new cyberspace operational centre.

The service “is an especially important national treasure”, Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky said.

Developing it was an important milestone in developing Hungary’s defence force, he added.

Ever since the 1950s, when the current venue of the service was used as a radio reconnaissance unit, technology has developed greatly, he noted, adding that the use of cyberspace for military operations meant that the service must now focus all its knowledge and capabilities under one roof at the cyberspace operational centre.
