BISB Graded as 'Excellent' in Recent ISI Inspection

We are delighted to announce that, following the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) inspection of our school in November 2022, BISB have retained the British School Overseas accreditation.

 Furthermore, we have been evaluated as “Excellent”, the highest grade, across both categories of educational quality: the quality of Pupils’ learning and achievement, as well as pupils’ personal development.

We are extremely proud and honoured to be awarded the highest grade across both pupils’ learning and achievement and personal development.

The inspection was extremely rigorous, taking place over four days in November.

During the inspection, a team of 6 inspectors carried out over 90 lesson observations; a broad and comprehensive collection of school documentation and policies were scrutinised, and student data reviewed.

Students’ learning in books and in digital form was examined, students and staff were interviewed, and questionnaires completed by staff, students and parents were analysed.

ISI reported many strengths of BISB that they observed during the inspection, and we
are delighted with their conclusion. It reinforces how we have firmly embedded our
mission, values and vision into every aspect of our practice to provide the very
best education for our students.

This is an outstanding achievement by the entire BISB community, and I am grateful
for the consistent hard work and dedication to provide the very highest quality of
experience for our students.

The findings in the report reflect the spirit and character of our school and demonstrate our commitment to our values and our goal to empower students to make a positive impact on their world.
