New Record High Temperature Measured in Hungary
The HungaroMet weather service measured 16.4 degrees Celsius in Báta, in southwest Hungary, the highest ever recorded in the country on January 4.

The highest temperature recorded earlier was 15.7 C in Drávaszabolcs, in southwest Hungary, in 2022, the service said.
