Hungarians Win Oxford Debate Contest
Annamária Wirtz and Flóra Zsoldos, two students at the British International School Budapest have won the Oxford Union debate contests, the world’s biggest high school level debate contests, in the English as a second language category.

They were one of 121 teams that took part in the contest after performing the best in regional elimination rounds in the UK and 11 other countries.

In the contest based on the traditional British parliamentary debates, the two-person teams have to argue in favour or against a proposition with little preparation.
