Same Day Delivery Collab Launched by dm and Wolt in Hungary

Thanks to the Wolt Drive service, orders placed in the dm Online Shop or via the dm App can now be delivered on the same day.
Starting in August, dm customers in Budapest can choose a new delivery option for their online orders. With the help of Wolt Drive, they can receive products ordered by 5 p.m. on the same day, delivered directly from one of the five participating dm stores in Budapest.
The goal of this new service is to offer a faster and more environmentally friendly option for online shopping, particularly for those who cannot or do not want to give up home delivery. The fleet delivering dm products through Wolt Drive consists entirely of electric vehicles, providing a more sustainable delivery method compared to traditional vehicles.
Additionally, the products are not collected from a distant logistics warehouse but rather from stores close to the customer.
“Through the collaboration between Wolt Drive and dm, we are not only providing fast and eco-friendly delivery for our customers but also supporting regional online retail,” said Orsolya Hartyányi, managing director of Wolt Hungary.
“We are continuously striving to offer sustainable delivery options and provide greener solutions for our partners,” she added.
The Wolt Drive rapid delivery service is already used by thousands of e-commerce businesses worldwide, ranging from banks to clothing stores to pet supply shops.
