EU Joint Action Started Against Chinese Online Retailer Temu, Hungary First to Initiate Proceedings
The Consumer Protection Cooperation Network (CPC) of the EU’s consumer protection authorities – including Hungary’s GVH – and the EC launched a joint action against Chinese online retailer Temu in order to protect consumers, the GVH announced on Friday.

Through the joint action, the authorities aim to force Temu to bring its commercial practices into line with the relevant EU regulations.

The GVH highlighted that it was the first European competition authority to initiate a competition supervision procedure against Temu, in March this year.
