Gyurcsány said he wrote the first chapter on impulse in just a few minutes.

He sent the chapter to a well-known and established writer, who answered that it is not so bad, so he set about writing.

There is seemingly a criminal act at the centre of the tale, but only seemingly.

Titled Death of the Cross, the novel will hit bookstores in two weeks under the pseudonym Kate Vargha.

Gyurcsány said there will be a clear distinction between what he says and writes as a politician and when he is simply telling a story for his own and the reader’s pleasure.
