B+N Offers Job Opportunities to Youth Living in Childcare in Hungary
B+N Referencia Zrt. also joined the Apponyi Franciska Future Workshop (Jövőműhely) Programme, which was launched last year by the State Secretariat for Childcare Policy of the Ministry of the Interior to help young people in child protection care to find a job.

Offering opportunity

B+N Referencia Zrt., the largest facility management company in Hungary, offers job opportunities to young people in childcare looking for work when they reach adulthood.

To this end, B+N Referencia Zrt. has joined the Apponyi Franciska Future Workshop (‘Jövőműhely’) Programme launched by the Ministry of the Interior.

Attila Fülöp, State Secretary for Childcare Policy, said at an event held on the occasion of the signing of the cooperation agreement, where several interested young people were present, that the Franciska Apponyi Workshop Programme was launched to create opportunities for young people who need to find a place in the labour market after leaving child protection.

This transition is not easy; it is not always smooth, so building bridges between young people and employers is important, ” the Secretary of State added.

A Vision for the Future That Includes a Love of a Profession

In our country, there are 23 thousand people in specialised child protection care, and they are the ones who need more help and support to develop their vision for the future.

The Future Workshop works with companies to deliver training and mentoring programmes developed by career specialists. The aim is to learn a trade and, if possible, to find a job.

“Our company is one of the most innovative facility operators in Hungary and the whole region. From self-propelled cleaning robots developed in-house to software that helps buildings run efficiently and economically, Industry 4.0 is permeating our operations. But one thing we are sure of is that the professionals who know where to tighten the screws to make a facility run perfectly will be in demand in ten, twenty or even thirty years.

Facilities management is a complex task, requiring, among other things, cleaners, maintenance staff, IT specialists, and engineers. We are trying to give all the help we can to those who are just entering the world of work to have a vision for the future that includes a love of a profession“, summarised Csaba Szij, Deputy CEO of B+N Referencia Zrt.

The Programme is named after Countess Franciska Apponyi, who is widely known for her charity and did a lot for children and young people at the turn of the century. Other partners have already joined the initiative, including OTP Bank Nyrt, the National Police Headquarters, and HUNGUEST Hotels Zrt.
