Hungary Joins the World Wellness Weekend Movement for a Second Year
In a world increasingly focused on wellness and vitality, World Wellness Weekend returns for its 8th edition from September 20-22, 2024, with a powerful call to action: “Good Health and Wellbeing for All!” This pro bono initiative, launched in 2017, aligns with the United Nations' 3rd Sustainable Development Goal (SDG), fostering a healthier, happier, and more active global community.

A Weekend of Wellness Across the Globe

With support from over 40 Mayors, Secretaries of Tourism and Health, 60+ international federations, and 240 dedicated Ambassadors and wellness leaders, World Wellness Weekend is set to inspire millions across 150+ countries. More than 8,500 venues, including fitness clubs, yoga studios, spas, salons, hot springs, hotels, resorts, and wellness centers, will open their doors to the public.

Participants can enjoy free and engaging group sessions indoors, recreational activities outdoors, and a host of online wellness content through the World Wellness WebTV.

Hungary Joins the Movement for a Second Year

For the second year in a row, Hungary is joining the global wellness movement, with 8 locations across the country, including a special program at the stunning Lua Resort in Balatonfüred, historical spas of Budapest Spas and several 5* Hotels. These events are free to participate in, but registration is mandatory in most cases. More information on the programs and how to register can be found at wellmap.org and on each participating venue's website.

A Movement for Positive Influence: #WELLfluencer

As the World Health Organization warns of increasing inactivity, obesity, insomnia, loneliness, and depression, professionals from the fitness, beauty, hospitality, and tourism sectors are rallying to promote vitality, serenity, and solidarity. The event embraces the 5 Pillars of Wellness: Sleep, Nutrition, Movement, Mindfulness and Solidarity.

From Fiji to Maui, the world will unite in celebration.
