CBA Launches Qvik Instant Payment Solution at Few Shops in Hungary
Hungarian-owned supermarket chain CBA has launched qvik, an instant payment solution recently rolled out by the National Bank of Hungary (NBH), at nine of its stores, CBA chairman Vilmos Lazar said at a press conference.

Qvik allows instant payments to be made using QR codes by clicking on a link in a mobile application or by approving a payment request.

CBA is the first brick-and-mortar retailer to adopt qvik which is already widely used among webshops.

NBH-owned GIRO operates the infrastructure necessary for qvik and Innopay provides the technology.
