Cyber crime experts of the Hungarian and German police have arrested in Berlin a Hungarian man believed to have posted online images showing Hungarian women beheaded or with their throats slit, police.hu reported on Monday.

The pictures with edited content were uploaded on a porn website by a user code-named "archie147" and referred to in a comment on a chat forum in August last year, the police said.

It said that investigations led to a 39-year-old Hungarian suspect staying in Berlin who was arrested in cooperation with the German partner authority on Feb 6.

In a house search of the suspect's flat an array of technical devices were seized including PC-s. mobile phones, CD-s, digital cameras, memory cards and e-books.

The investigation by Hungarian and German authorities continues, the portal said.
