Failure to Complete New Online Tax Procedure for Companies in Hungary Could Result in HUF 300,000 Penalty
Hungary's National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) is launching data reconciliation with corporate taxpayers in February, NAV head Ferenc Vagujhelyi told MTI.

Failure to complete the simple, online procedure could result in a HUF 300,000 penalty and a possible audit, Vagujhelyi said.

The procedure is a new tool for NAV to crack down on tax evasion.

Tax office launches data reconciliation for corporate taxpayers

Hungary's National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) is launching data reconciliation with corporate taxpayers in February, NAV head Ferenc Vagujhelyi told MTI.

Failure to complete the simple, online procedure could result in a HUF 300,000 penalty and a possible audit, Vagujhelyi said.
